FIELD: cryogenic engineering; preparation of pure xenon from primary krypton concentrate at xenon content of 0!01%. SUBSTANCE: method includes preparation of primary krypton concentrate which is introduced into freezer at a temperature higher than temperature equilibrium to partial pressure of xenon contained in concentrate. In freezer, concentrate is cooled to temperature below temperature equilibrium to partial pressure of xenon in freezer. Total pressure of all other components of primary concentrate in freezer is maintained below their equilibrium pressures at minimum temperature in freezer. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 1 dwg
