FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: deep ripper has frame, hitching device, carrier wheels, tine 1 with two double-faced cutting edges inclined at different angles and disposed on front part. Tine 1 has chisel 2 and ripping member 3 mounted behind tine 1. Ripping member 3 is made in the form of anchor chain length. End links of chain are connected with tine 1 by means of intermediate members 12 and 13. Strengthened links of larger size than that of links on end portions of chain are positioned in mid portion of anchor chain length. Such construction facilitates crumbing of water-logged soil layers and reduction of draft. EFFECT: increased efficiency, simplified construction and enhanced reliability in operation. 1 dwg
