FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has unclosed frame as arc-shaped springy rod member 2 with working parts curved outside and being clamps 4 having lateral edges as external ribs 5 and 6. Every working part has flat elongated T-shaped tail connected to one of external ribs. The T-shaped tails have external central projections 7 rotatably connected to ends of rod member 2 curved as fastening members 3. The mouth gag has stiffness control member being plate 10 with holes 12 connected by slit 11 so that plate 10 is movable and fixable on the unclosed frame. Tubular envelope 1 made from plastic, can be installed on rod member 2, its internal size exceeding the external size of rod member 2. Central external projections 7 are provided with holes connected to ends of rod members 2 curved as C-shaped fastening members 3 rotatable and engageable with flat elongated T-shaped tails. The mouth gag also has flexible belt 8 with controllable length and ends attached to T-shaped tail ends.
