SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Disclosed is non-staining gel composition for topical application. Composition contains nimesulide, one or more non-aqueous solvents, one or more gelling agents which do not depend on pH, one or more acidifying agents and, if necessary, one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. PH of said composition is 2–5.
EFFECT: invention provides a composition, the use of which does not cause or mainly does not cause skin and/or clothes colouring, while ensuring rapid penetration of nimesulide into the upper skin layer.
