FIELD: production of alloys. SUBSTANCE: alloy of invention is prepared via mixing either powdered LaNi5 alloy or rare-earth metals, e.g. La, Ce, Pr, and Nd and powdered CaCu5 alloy prepared by combining Mm-Mn-Ni-Al-Co alloys with powdered alloy with Laves phase of Zr-Mn- V-Cr-Ni alloys. Powdered alloy mixture thus obtained is subjected to mechanical action produced by high-speed ball mill with abrasive to form alloy containing occluded hydrogen. When the method is performed, manganese component is easily controlled. EFFECT: facilitated preparation of alloy. 1 dwg
