FIELD: electrochemical alloys for storage cells. SUBSTANCE: nonuniform heterogeneous powdered particles having in their composition at least two separate different hydrogen-absorbing alloys are proposed for negative plate of cell. Alloys are chosen from group including ovonic alloys, type LaNi5, ovonic alloys, type TiNi, and MgNi-containing ovonic alloys. Proposed by invention are also method for producing mentioned powdered particles, active material for negative plate built around mentioned particles, and storage cell using mentioned active material for negative plate.
