FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, methods for forming of grinding wheels. SUBSTANCE: dressing tool is used in the form of supersonic fluid jet which is directed at some angle to end face of grinding wheel. Dressing tool is reciprocated in vertical plane in agreement with rotary motion of grinding wheel at velocity of dressing. This motion is discontinued after complete revolution of grinding wheel.
