FIELD: shipbuilding; shipboard electrical plants with shaft generators and frequency converters, mainly with diesel engines used as main engines. SUBSTANCE: electrical plant includes main diesel engine connected with propeller by means of shaft line, shaft generator with excitation system kinematically connected with engine and electrically connected with busbars of shipboard electric power station through frequency converter, frequency converter control system whose output is connected to control input of converter and input is connected to output of frequency converter through voltage sensor. Besides that, plant includes auxiliary diesel engine kinematically connected with auxiliary generator through disengagement clutch; auxiliary generator is equipped with excitation system and is electrically connected with busbars of shipboard electric power station through switch. Plant includes also current converter with current regulator and control system whose output is connected via current sensor to electric power accumulator. Besides that, plant includes the following components connected in series: shaft line elastic vibrations sensor, phase shifter and amplifier whose output is connected to first input of accumulator current regulator whose second input is connected to output of current accumulator sensor and its output is connected with input of converter control system. Primary winding of additionally introduced transformer is connected with output of shaft generator and first and second secondary windings of transformer are connected respectively with first-fourth inputs of multi-position selector switch; first output of multi-position selector switch is connected with frequency converter and second output is connected with current converter.
