FIELD: construction engineering. SUBSTANCE: building mainly intended for animals has foundation, walling, and reinforced concrete slabs. Building is provided with device for protection against thawing of permafrost ground. Device is made in the form of vacuumized box-section blocks installed on permafrost ground under thermal-insulating reinforced concrete slab. Thermal-insulating concrete mix for aforesaid box-section blocks is prepared with aggregate having high thermal conductivity such as broken ceramic or glass material. Embedded in concrete body of box-section blocks are for example aluminium pipes, and delivered through theses pipes is hot water in winter, and cooling agent such as cooled water in summer. Placed under aforesaid pipes for functioning as reflector is double-side foil. Walling can be for example of arch-type made up of sections in the form of cubes with walls produced of same material which used in box-section blocks. Cavity of each cube is vacuumized and hermetically sealed. In erection of another structure, for example heated aircraft runway, vacuumized walling is arranged along its entire perimeter as deep as freezing depth of ground. In this case, device for protection against thawing of permafrost ground is made in the form of vacuumized box-section blocks which are installed under thermal-insulating reinforced concrete slab made of thermal-insulating concrete mix containing aggregate of high thermal conductivity such as broken ceramic or glass material. Aluminium pipes are embedded in concrete body for delivering hot water in winter, and cooling agent such as cooled water - in summer.
