FIELD: hydraulic engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic engineering, namely to berthing structures erected mainly in the regions of the Far North. The structure is intended for mooring vessels plying along the Northern Sea Route, in the coast of which there are soils with permafrost. The ice berth includes, as well as the prototype, a concrete mooring edge connected through the ice massif to the frozen shore, and cooling pipes horizontally located in the upper part of the ice massif, while unlike the prototype, the ice massif is made with a protrusion towards the water area, the end surface of which is limited by the specified concrete mooring edge, and the supporting part is equipped with vertical pipes, the lower ends buried in the bottom of the water area, and the upper ends are withdrawn into horizontal cooling pipes and equipped with valves. The horizontal cooling pipes are laid over the entire length of the ice massif with reinforcement of the ice ledge. To increase the strength of the berth, the ice ledge is reinforced with fiberglass. At the same time, the berth cover is made of heat-insulating and wear-resistant material. To supply the refrigerant to the horizontal cooling pipes, the berth is equipped with a refrigerant forming station.
EFFECT: possibility of receiving vessels with a large draft while saving the cost of construction work.
