FIELD: oil and gas production industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to development of gas, gas-condensate and oil deposits and is aimed at improving accuracy in determining amount of brine water ingressed into deposit in course of its development. According to method, by using maps of initial and current positions of gas-water contact, drawn are map contour lines of gas-water contact raising. Determined inside contour of gas-water contact are volumes of ground V1i between horizontal planes drawn through adjacent contour lines. Found for each volume V1i is volume of porous space V2i according to which calculated is volume of residual gas V3i. Volume of residual gas V3i is determined with taking into consideration differentiated coefficient of current gas saturation. Calculated is volume of residual water V4i, and amount of brine water penetrated into deposit is determined according to this formula: . EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 dwg
