FIELD: mechanical engineering, prevention of failure of fuel lines and tanks with combined bottoms containing corrosive and fire and explosive unlike components. SUBSTANCE: differential safety device incorporates body composed of two parts with inlet, outlet and additional conduits. Body houses seat, gate, controlling spring and controlling rod interacting with gate. Sensitive element in the form of two membranes fitted tightly one against another and having equal effective areas is put at point of joint of parts. It separates spaces of inlet and additional conduits. Tips of controlling rod are located in spaces of inlet and additional conduits. One of tips is spring-loaded towards gate and rests against rest of body, the other one is fitted with gripper with flange and interacts with gate to form ring slit with seat. Travel of sensitive element is not less than summary value of slit between gate and seat and clearance value between gripper and tip of controlling rod in space of inlet conduit.
