FIELD: decontaminating materials polluted by radionuclides. SUBSTANCE: process includes reducing water level in separators to mark below point of incision of steam outlet pipes followed by sequential electrochemical decontamination of channels, with shut-off and control valves of channels held closed. After electrochemical treatment, channels are subjected to hydrodynamic rinsing, with spent electrolyte and rinsing water being discharge; then plug is inserted in each channel holder. Shut-off and control valves are opened and water level in separators is brought up to mark above point of incision of steam-water pipes. Chemical agents are introduced in water to produce decontaminating solution which is allowed to circulate to ensure chemical decontamination. EFFECT: improved decontaminating efficiency. 4 dwg
