FIELD: maintenance of nuclear power plants. SUBSTANCE: device used for decontaminating process channels of reactors RMBK-1000 and RMBK-1500 has electrode with insulator placed in process channel filled with electrolyte and connected to DC power supply using cathode circuit arrangement, as well as compressed-air line; it is provided with channel-casing mounted funnel with showering torus, active-water pump, and water-jet pump in bottom part of electrode; electrode is built up of two concentric tubes; inner tube is secured to delivery nozzle of water-jet pump whose suction nozzle communicates with U-bend base; active-water pump and compressed-air line communicate with annular space formed by internal and external tubes of electrode; internal tube carries shut-off valve mounted on electrode head and check valve on compressed-air line; funnel is connected to DC power supply using anode circuit arrangement. EFFECT: improved efficiency of device due to more effective removal of slime from channel bottom; enlarged functional capabilities. 5 dwg
