FIELD: medical practice. SUBSTANCE: use is made of analysis of spectra of carotid pulse and lobule of the ear. Method and device are based on the fact that oscillations of tympanic membrane cause variation of spectral components of pulse characteristic of ear circulation vessels with respect to spectral composition of pulse characteristic of internal carotid feeding the blood vessels of hearing apparatus. Device has generator, controllable attenuator, signal level and generator frequency meters, headphone, recording device, switches, optoelectronic pulse pickup, spectrum analyzer, controllable low- and high-pass filters, frequency detectors, computers, storage device, comparator and attenuator drive.
