FIELD: end milling cutters with radial and axial adjustment of cartridges, particularly, for milling aluminium parts. SUBSTANCE: milling cutter features precise adjustment of position of cutting edges in axial and radial directions with use of number of parts lowered as much as possible. Parts of milling cutter are prevented against shift caused by action of centrifugal forces. Body of milling cutter is balanced in such a way that its balancing does not suffer at high cutting rates. Cutting tips are mounted in milling head in cartridges joined by means of riffles with body of milling head. Part of riffles are arranged mainly in parallel with axis of milling head, other riffles are arranged mainly in radial direction relative to axis of milling head, that is why adjustment is performed along riffles of respective direction.
