FIELD: milling cutters for cutting with chipping. SUBSTANCE: multitooth milling cutter features precise setting of cutting edges in axial direction, lowered number of separate units and clearance-free assemblies for mounting cartridges with cutting tips in recesses of body in radial and axial directions. Cutting tips are mounted in body of milling cutter by means of cartridges. Each cartridge is arranged in groove along periphery of body and it is mounted by means of two fastening screws. Axial displacement of cartridge is realized due to action of head of eccentric pin engaging with recess of groove at side of cartridge turned to axis of milling cutter. Cartridge also includes additional through opening joined with recess or groove opposite relative to head of eccentric pin. EFFECT: improved design. 6 cl, 5 dwg
