FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: body contains tangentially installed plates with four cutting edges and two holes, one of which is intended for fastening screw in two of four indexed positions. By arranging a screw hole in insert pocket for the milling cutter at a distance from the radial bearing surface of the socket, which exceeds the distance between an individual opening and a distal end of the plate for the milling cutter, by means of the elasticity of the fastening screw a clamping force is provided. The plate for the milling cutter is also pressed against the tangential bearing surface in the socket of the transverse eccentricity. By means of the declared structure two holes in plates of different length for the milling cutter can be formed with equally large distances from the distal ends, which enables use of one body for plates of different length.
EFFECT: reduced time for plates replacement, increased strength of structure, increased efficiency of treatment.
