FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: longitudinal and transverse reinforcement bars of fabrics and cages for reinforced- concrete products are laid in design position and then tied manually by tie wire preliminarily wound on device for tying of reinforcing fabrics made in the form of a reel with an annular duct formed around the edges. The device is positioned between the thumb and index finger of hand; tie wire is laid along the longitudinal bar, then both bars are bent around by tie wire in the point of intersection with the transverse bar, rolling it on the bars, then tie wire is laid along the longitudinal bar to the next intersection of the bars. EFFECT: enhanced rate of tying of reinforcing fabric and reduced consumption of tie wire. 6 cl, 11 dwg
