FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to construction, in particular to manufacturing of flat reinforcing cages - narrow "zigzag" nets for reinforcement of reinforced concrete items. Result of invention application is achieved by the fact that in reinforcing cage, including longitudinal working, mount and transverse rods, - transverse rods are arranged in the form of wound "zigzag" net and fixed on whole framework of reinforcing cage.

EFFECT: simplified manufacturing and improved quality of reinforcing cage, increased strength of inclined sections in reinforced concrete items, reduced number of technological operations for mechanical treatment of reinforcing steel, in particular for cutting of reinforcing rods and their further welding in areas of jointing with longitudinal reinforcement; reduced labour intensiveness in process of reinforcing cage manufacturing, saving of metal, energy and welding material; lower injury rate in manufacturing and assembly of reinforcing cage.
