FIELD: underground mineral mining machinery. SUBSTANCE: the offered rack-and-pinion flight has rack sections separated into two parts and installed in trough-shaped brackets on side members of chutes and axles for their joining. Rack sections are hinged with each other into common line and installed from both sides between bracket walls and racks-inserts having plates with holes for installation of axles at constant spacing. Ends of these axles are installed into longitudinal recesses made on trough-shaped brackets for reciprocating in recesses. Inserts connecting rack sections may be made U-shaped, Length of recesses of trough-shaped brackets may be governed by swivel angle of chutes depending on height of location of rack section above conveyer flight. This provides for compensation of end chute raising to ensure smooth outgoing of scraper member. In mining thin beds with chutes made of low special profile, the height of rack-and-pinion flight is reduced with respect to lock joints. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 5 dwg
