FACE FLIGHT CONVEYER Russian patent published in 2001 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry, powered mining complexes for transportation of mineral resource of underground mining. SUBSTANCE: face flight conveyer includes flight made of line sections of conveyer intercoupled by locking joints having cast sides in which sockets carrying inserts are made, intercoupled intermediate pan, intermediate section and leading driving gear linked to conveyer flight, end extensible driving gear of conveyer with frame and hydraulic extensible hydraulic cylinders coupled to conveyer flight and fixing unit and plate and planer mounted for mutual longitudinal translation. Intercoupled side plates are made fast on face side of troughs of cable laying machine. Locking insert has symmetrical cut-outs arranged in parallel to its longitudinal axis where fixing clamps are mounted for registration of inserts in sockets. Intermediate pan, intermediate section and leading driving gear are made fast to common plate positioned beneath. End extensible driving gear of conveyer is mounted for longitudinal movement with regard to conveyer flight. Planer of end extensible driving gear is put on frame and is fitted from beneath with plate made fast to it to form pocket between planer and plate. Conveyer flight is provided on side of end line section with protecting sheet mounted for longitudinal movement in pocket of frame of driving gear. Side sheets of troughs of cable laying machine on face side are fitted with protecting shields linking side sheets mounted for limited turn of one sheet with reference to another and protecting shield in vertical plane when frontal profile of floor of breakage face changes. Fixing unit is fabricated in the form of shut-off valve of extensible hydraulic cylinder. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability and safety of conveyer. 2 cl, 11 dwg
