FIELD: mechanical engineering; four-stroke internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: piston has grooves for oil control rings. Lower groove is made with reverse taper angle of working surface relative to upper ring. Circular recess is arranged between grooves for rings and is separated from grooves by lands. Upper part of recess is made conical, and lower part is formed by arc of circumference with radius equal to depth of recess. Lubricating and sealing material from engine crankcase circulates constantly in diffuser. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 3 cl, 4 dwg
