FIELD: mechanical engineering, internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pistons provided with three piston groove in each of which one piston ring is fitted. Piston has two thin compression rings with oppositely spaced ring gaps fitted in upper groove of piston. Second cast-iron compression rings with upper channel in which thin steel locking ring with oppositely spaced is fitted in second groove. Third cast-iron ring fitted in lower groove is provided from two sides with thin steel locking rings with oppositely spaced gaps. Lower thin steel locking ring is oil control one. Piston is provided with groove to remove oil from walls of cylinder and direct it into piston inner space.
EFFECT: improved reliability and increased service life of piston.
