FIELD: non-destructive analysis of characteristics of materials, in particular, mass express evaluation of composition (porosity) of two-phase alloys (for example, solid alloys of same type and shape). SUBSTANCE: method involves isothermal measuring of resonance oscillation frequencies articles with same shape and size of single- phase components and two-phase material. Composition under condition $$$ conforms to equations $$$ - where $$$ are rates of volume concentration of phases, $$$ - are frequencies of resonance oscillation frequencies for articles of each phase and tested material respectively.
