FIELD: control-measuring equipment engineering, possible use in science of materials for mass control of composition of products made of two-phased composites.

SUBSTANCE: method for acoustic control of products of two-phased composite includes selecting comparison sample from a batch of controlled products and preliminary determining of its composition by known method, identical to measuring ultrasound speeds in comparison sample and in several products from composite component with greater ultrasound speed in it and of two-phased composites. Measuring of ultrasound speed is performed by impulse method under similar physical conditions. Composition of two-phased composites is determined under condition V1≥Vi and V1≥Vs,from relations: and C1=1-C2, where C1,C2,C2e - volumetric concentration of components with greater and lesser ultrasound speeds in controlled composites and with lesser ultrasound speed in comparison sample, respectively, in shares; V1,V2,Vs - ultrasound speeds in products made of composite component with greater ultrasound speed, in controlled composites and in comparison standard sample, respectively, in meters per second.

EFFECT: possible mass non-destructive control of phase composition of finished products with necessary precision in simpler and more express manner.
