FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: rotary contact unit has collector with contact rings and restoring brushes arranged uniaxially. Distinguished feature of unit lies in manufacture of brush holders in the form of rings with longitudinal grooves in internal side surfaces which are mounted uniaxially outside corresponding contact rings of collector. Brushes are anchored on internal side surface of brush holders, free cones of brushes are put into grooves of brush holders and package of brush holders is installed inside insulation fastening bushing.
