FIELD: power supply systems for nontractive loads; general-purpose substations. SUBSTANCE: modular metalclad transformer substation is built up of separate prefabricated functional modules accommodating factory-wired, adjusted, and tested switchgear and other pieces of equipment; in-situ installation of substation boils down to joining of modules and connection of power and secondary circuits by means of unified connecting assemblies also prefabricated. Modules are provided with special supporting and adjusting mechanisms for displacing them over rails or channel bars. EFFECT: facilitated installation of substation and provision for maintaining it serviceable under all environmental conditions.
