FIELD: power engineering; power supply to rail and urban transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed traction substation has separate modules with warmed butt-end walls mounting bushing insulators connected to module internal power circuits, as well as assemblies used to bring out secondary electric circuits accommodated in modules and provided with fast-separating connectors. Modules are installed in definite order in spaced relation to each other, and flexible expansion devices are fitted between bushing insulators of adjacent modules.
EFFECT: enhanced mobility, reparability, and fire safety of substation.
