FIELD: metalclad switchgear. SUBSTANCE: cubicle designed for 6-10 kV metalclad switchgear is made in the form of metal cabinet accommodating vertically disposed pieces of equipment and bus system for single connection to collecting buses. Bay of collecting buses is arranged in each cubicle horizontally in its central part. Junctions between collecting buses and respective pieces of equipment are arranged vertically in its top and bottom parts. Front door is halved through its face and height to provide alternate access to each piece of equipment installed in cubicle bay. Bay doors are fitted with mechanical interlocking devices enabling access to cubicle bay only upon disconnecting respective bay-feeding pieces of equipment and grounding them. Proposed design of switchgear cubicle provides for increasing its holding capacity and reducing space requirement, facilitating its assembly and wiring in building indoor transformer substations for urban and rural applications.
