SUBSTANCE: DC-to-DC high-voltage changer is provided with two additional secondary windings in power transformer with additional rectifiers, ON/OFF logic element, current sensor, single-operation switch, additional diode, delay unit, comparator, AND gate, additional control-signal shaping unit, and two output step voltage buses; each semiconductor switch member is built up of series-connected thyristor cells. EFFECT: improved reliability when operating into inductive load and reduced power loss. 1 dwg
