FIELD: electrical engineering; organizing communication channels in electric power mains without using high-frequency traps. SUBSTANCE: channels can be organized in lines rated 0.38, 10, 35, and 110 kV. Signal transmission speed can be raised to 50 bands. Method employs PCM-PM system with integration at characteristic points which are time instants when supply voltage crosses zero. Device has two passive-active transmitters, four symmetrical-component voltage filters, two multipliers, two mixers, two low-frequency filters, two integrators, two synchronizers, heterodyne, and inverter.
