FIELD: fur farming. SUBSTANCE: method involves crossing black foxes of normal commercial population with selected domesticated foxes obtained by selection according to their capacity for domestification, with domestification evaluation mark ranging between 3.5 to 4 marks; obtaining population of farm foxes having high domestification behavior formed on genetic base and firmly retained in progeny. Population of obtained foxes is genetically adapted for presence of servicing personnel and for cage keeping conditions. EFFECT: increased stress resistance and fecundity. 2 cl, 9 tbl
