FIELD: biotechnology, medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves application of lignin disks impregnated with blank solutions and analyte solutions containing angiogenin on naked chorioallontois envelope of 6-7-day old chicken embryo of pure genetic strains. After 96 h of incubation of embryos chorioallontois envelope is removed from disk zone, fixed in formalin and placed in strictly limited area as circle with diameter 10 mm divided for 4 sectors. Vessel amount in each sector is carried out by direct counting in each sector under magnifying glass. Sum of vessel counts in 4 sectors represents the density of vessels in limited site of chorioallantois envelope and it is the index of angiogenin activity. Method provides the quantitative evaluation of angiogenic activity under standard conditions that provides the possibility to standardize the preparation of different series and compares the results of experimental and clinical studies of its effect.
