FIELD: agriculture, plant selection. SUBSTANCE: for development of salt-resistant forms of soft wheat the parent forms are tested for their salt-resistance. Hybrids F1 are obtained using the strain of wheat Saratovskaya-29 as a mother form and the hybrid population of the strain of rye Onokhoiskaya containing mutant genes providing fertility of hybrids as a father form. Hybrids F1 are subjected for a single back-crossing with the strain Saratovskaya-29 and hybrids F2 (BC1) are self-pollinated up to the fifth generation. Selection of substituted salt-resistant forms of wheat is carried out in progeny F5 (BC1). EFFECT: enhanced salt-resistance and ear productivity of lines as compared with the mother strain, value material for wheat selection for salt-resistance. 2 cl, 1 tbl
