FIELD: amusing equipment. SUBSTANCE: viewing wheel has girder-type rim with passenger cabins pivotally suspended to rim, girder-type bars with U-shaped longitudinal section. Peripheral ends of bars are fixed to inner part of rim and base ends are attached to drum mounted on support and connected to rotational drive. Bars have sharpened ends. Rim has arched segments. Closed guiding rails are secured on rim and adapted to receive wheels of additional passenger cabins. Section of rim has trapezium-shaped or triangular form, with narrow part being oriented to axis of rotation. Such construction allows wind loadings to be minimized. EFFECT: increased rigidity, strength and enhanced reliability in operation and wider range of applications accepted for such constructions. 2 cl, 2 dwg
