FIELD: metallurgy, stamping of continuously cast ingots. SUBSTANCE: car of proposed gear carries roller rest allowing constant distance from stamping disc to ingot to be kept and travel sensor including spring-loaded disc with plates and contactless limit switches positioned on it that makes it possible to obtain equal distances between marking symbols independent of speed of travel of ingot over roller table. Base of stamping head is put on guiding rollers with flanges. EFFECT: increased stamping quality and operational reliability of gear. 2 dwg
