FIELD: laser-type projection systems suitable for marking products practically of any materials transparent for irradiation of Nd-laser. SUBSTANCE: laser brander includes successively arranged pulse-type solid-state laser, optical wedge unit, scanning prism in the form of parallelepiped provided with motor, mask, rotary mirrors and lens. Laser irradiation provides local heating of product up to temperature of intensive evaporation of its material. It causes material removal out of zone of laser irradiation and formation of "groove" on surface of said product. Said groove creates necessary image. EFFECT: increased irradiation power density in branding zone, enhanced brand proofness against imitation. 3 cl, 1 dwg
