FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: method consists in measuring the height of irregularities and calculating the additional viscous resistance followed by estimation of reduction of ship's speed. According to invention, the following additional measurement are made: ship's speed, revolutions of main engines, fore and aft drafts taking into account additional viscous resistance.
