FIELD: space engineering. SUBSTANCE: device includes pyro drive 3 where piston with rod is mounted; piston is secured by means of split ring. Rod is connected with links 17 through swivel unit 16; links 17 are engageable with locking devices 18; each locking device includes slide block mechanism for locking and release which is mounted in sleeve and is loaded with spring withdrawing the connecting bolt carrying the members for securing the separable space vehicle to rocket stage. When pyro drive 3 operates, sleeve is set in motion by means of cam-screw transmission and gets engageable with above-mentioned mechanism releasing the bolt received by catcher together with spring. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation of in-flight separation device due to repeated preflight functional checks. 4 dwg
