FIELD: microbiology. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to new strain, Pseudomonas aeruginosa VKPM V-7144, producing surface-active polymer - "oilrepeller". Strain is cultured on plain agar surface containing glucose as carbon and energy source. Culturing time is 68-72 h. Yield of "oilrepeller" is 6 g/l medium (by dry matter). Strain can be used in oil industry, environment treatment, in textile industry, for coating articles made of glass, metal, ceramics, plastics in order to make oil-repelling, hydrophilic and antistatic properties and as detergent. EFFECT: new bacterial strain indicated above.
