FIELD: otorhinolaryngology. SUBSTANCE: two blades 1 coupled by screw 2 and bent at an angle of 30-40 deg have operating ends 5 with cone-shaped sharpening on external surface. Operating ends 5 have elbow-shaped form and sharpening length of 10-15 mm. Elbow-shaped part 4, while thrusting upon soft tissues of throat, limit depth of introduction of operating ends 5 to 10-15 mm. After penetration into abscess cavity, blades 1 are separated, and abscess content is poured into throat. EFFECT: reduced traumaticity, painfulness of interference and reduced time of operation. 1 dwg
