FIELD: mechanical engineering; cleaning of materials. SUBSTANCE: centrifugal separator installed in tower housing 1 has inlet branch pipe 2 connected with distributing duct 3 of rectangular section. Distributing duct is divided into parts by means of one or several partitions 4, each part being connected with corresponding duct 5. Each duct 5 has gradually curved shape of L-section and consists of side outer wall 6 and inner wall 7 and upper cover 8. Width of section 9 of covers 8 is constant, and width of covers 8 on sections 10 and 11 gradually decreases in range of 1-3 mm and 1-2 mm, respectively, per each degree of azimuthal angle of tower housing.
