FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: air heating device includes a housing with air flow inlet and outlet and a heating assembly and a centrifugal fan, which are arranged in it. The heating assembly includes a shell and sections of spiral elements enclosed in it, which are electrically connected in series and fixed with their ends on screws that tighten insulators. Insulators are located on axially extended supporting plates that are formed as an internal assembly in the form of a polyhedron, which is attached to the shell. A centrifugal fan is placed to the outlet wall of the housing, installed after the heating assembly and has a casing in the form of a snail. The outlet opening of the casing corresponds to the outlet opening of the housing. The inlet opening of the centrifugal fan is a confuser and corresponds to the outlet opening of the shell of the heating assembly. The device can contain hollow flattened ring-shaped holders that are located coaxially to the shell of the heating assembly inside it. The ring-shaped holders are located at some distance from each other to opposite ends of the heating assembly and form along with the axially extended supporting plates an internal assembly of heating assembly 6, which is attached to its shell. The axially extended supporting plates are equally spaced on the ring-shaped holders in azimuthal direction.

EFFECT: enlarging functional capabilities of an air heating device with maintenance of an inertia-free and compact device.
