FIELD: petroleum chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: separator comprises housing defined by the walls of rectifying tower, top and bottom lids, and branch pipe for supplying vapor-liquid mixture. The space of the separator receives two stacks of louver plates made of half-corrugations and arranged at an angle to each other and symmetrically with respect to the branch pipe. The plates are interconnected in pair to define hollow members. The front side of the hollow member is perforated, and the back side is solid. The pad with the drain branch pipe underlies the bottom perforated lid.
EFFECT: reduced hydraulic resistance.
