FIELD: decorative coatings. SUBSTANCE: when covering a part of the one side of metal kitchen dishes by decorative coating based on fluorocarbon polymer and a pigment, coating is applied together with pigment onto portions of the indicated side thereby determining borders for decorative coating to be applied. Before applying coating, at last one side of dishes is chemically treated to form microcavities for better adhesion, and, to the indicated side with decorative coating already applied, compression surface is pressed under pressure high enough to destroy cavities beyond coated areas that results in appearance of metallic glance.
