FIELD: aeronautical engineering; keeping the aircraft afloat in case of emergency water landing for rescue of passengers and crew before arrival of lifesaving craft. SUBSTANCE: rescue system is provided with inflatable bottle 1 made in form of cylinder from light strong gas- and watertight material reinforced on the outside with longitudinal bands 4 and transversal bands 5 and strengthening strakes 6. Inflatable bottles 1 are stowed in longitudinal recesses formed along sides of aircraft fuselage. Recesses are closed with covers. Atmosphere air is admitted to inflatable bottle 1 through hose 7 and shut-off valve under action of velocity head, thus filling it. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability; simplified construction; reduced mass; quick placing of system in operation before alighting on water. 20 dwg
