FIELD: vertical takeoff and landing flying vehicles of off-field base.
SUBSTANCE: proposed vertical takeoff and landing flying vehicle consists of longitudinal load-bearing frame, pressurized body (1), tail unit, cargo cabin (7) and two power plants with main rotors mounted on body ends. Primary body is made in form of hermetic shell from strong gastight temperature-resistant material and is filled with carrier gas, helium for example; it is rigidly connected with load-bearing frames provided with external stores. Turboprop engine plants (8 and 9) are located along longitudinal axis of flying vehicle in nose and tail sections of its body and are inscribed in plane of its midsection. Main rotors are provided with blade twisting control system at change of cyclic pitch of propellers in flight creating vertical and horizontal thrust and ensuring vertical takeoff and landing, control of flying vehicle in heading and pitch and motion in air in all directions.
EFFECT: extended functional capabilities of flying vehicle.
