FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft facilities for firefighting. Firefighting aircraft comprises fuselage, tail fins, two propulsion devices, four-leg chassis. Tail fins consist of stabiliser and two keels. Propulsion devices are placed at ends of fuselage and consist of two intercoupled gas-turbine engines connected by reduction gearbox. Each reducing gearbox actuates two coaxial lifting propellers rotating in different directions. The propellers are equipped with swash plates providing pitch variation and aircraft control by pitch attitudes and bank angles. The aircraft consists of three parts (compartments) where central part can be changed for other similar part.
EFFECT: aircraft design provides effective control by water flows (jets) when aircraft is hovering during fire suppression.
