SUBSTANCE: derivatives of picoline acid having formula I where if p=0 then each of R1 and R2 is C1-C4-alkoxy; X is group having formula or group having formula where R3 is hydrogen, C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy-C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkenyl, C2-C4-alkynyl, benzyloxycarbonyl, C1-C4-alkylcarbonyl, phenylsulfonyl; R4 is hydrogen, C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy-C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy-C1-C4-alkyloxy-C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxycarbonyl-C1-C4-alkyl, benzyloxy-C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkyloxyoxy-C1-C4-alkyl, phenoxy-C1-C4-alkyl, C1-C4-alkoxy, C1-C4-cycloalkyl, C2-C5-alkynyl, C2-C4-alkenyl, benzyl, substituted carbonyl, benzoyl, halogen, C2-C4/ -alkoxy, nitro group, alkylsulfonyl, phenylsulfonyl, C1-C4 and R3 together with adjacent nitrogen atom form azido group, isothiocyanate group, maleimide group, pyrrolyl group, morpholine group; R4 is hydrogen, amino; R7 is R8-alkylthio, di-C1-C4-alkylamino; W is COOR; Y is -O- group, methylene (which may be substituted by cyan or carbonyl), halo-C1-C4-alkyl. If p=1 then R1 and R2 are as it has been mentioned above; X is di-C1-C4-alkylamino group; Y is -O-; W is COOC1-C4--alkyl; Z is C1-C4 alkyl +Hal group.
